Web Animation Studio has won the award for the Best edutainment content at the Golden Cursor Awards organised by TV18 and Arena Multimedia. The DVD titled ‘Rhymetime in Toyland’ created for Sheamroo Entertainment is targeted at children between 3-6.

Public Votes ‘Eggy’ as #1 at Nasscom 2008.
Nasscom Animation and Gaming Expo was held in November 2008. Our entry was selected for the Superpitch that is held every year at Nasscom. Eggy did not impress the jury, however the our PPT was enough to impress the 100 odd crowd to vote for us. Eggy won the peoples heart..

Nano Wins 2nd Prize at Superpitch 07
I am thrilled to announce that my concept “NANO” won the second prize at the Nasscom Animation & Gaming expo 2007 held at Hyatt on 1st and 2nd November 2007. The concept was really liked by the audience. I am now looking forward to collaborate with potential studios to produce this concept. Also find below the entire presentation slides which will be up for a limited period of time. I am sure students will benefit from the presentation.

…From gaming the pitch moved back into animation with Yogi Chopra’s pitch ‘Nano’, the concept of which was refreshingly fresh. “I’m not an animator but a writer and very new in the field of animation,” shared Yogi. Nano is about an alien who lives in an environment where there is no one and has to rely on technology. In the series, conflict is the antagonist. Yogi is looking at making Nano into an episodic series with each episode being 3-5 minutes long and which could be aired 4-6 times a day. “Nano has no linguistic barriers as there is no dialogue, finished Yogi. It must be mentioned here that Yogi came second in the Super Pitch.
