X-media Lab, Singapore

My project idea> experiment.in was selected at the X|MEDIA|LAB that was held in Singapore on September 28-30th. This years topic was Media Arts and R&D. The Lab gave me great exposure to international mentors each of which had their own experience in one of the best organisations in the world. Website > www.xmedialab.com

There were many interesting projects that were presented at the Lab from various parts of the world. The Lab gave me the opportunity to network with people from different parts of the world and gave me an international perspective.

Creative Spaces in NID

Oozing with Creative energies, NID is truly the right place to be for the “Creative one”. As a enthu digital photographer i found many corners, classrooms full of creative spaces. Whenever i felt bored or over exhausted of the sessions/movies @ Chitrakatha 2007, i would take a small break and rejuvenate myself with some lights and shadows! I hope you enjoy the photos.

Nano wins second prize at Super pitch!

I am thrilled to announce that my concept “NANO” won the second prize at the Nasscom Animation & Gaming expo 2007 held at Hyatt on 1st and 2nd November 2007. The concept was really liked by the audience. I am now looking forward to collaborate with potential studios to produce this concept. Also find below the entire presentation slides which will be up for a limited period of time. I am sure students will benefit from the presentation.

…From gaming the pitch moved back into animation with Yogi Chopra’s pitch ‘Nano’, the concept of which was refreshingly fresh. “I’m not an animator but a writer and very new in the field of animation,” shared Yogi. Nano is about an alien who lives in an environment where there is no one and has to rely on technology. In the series, conflict is the antagonist. Yogi is looking at making Nano into an episodic series with each episode being 3-5 minutes long and which could be aired 4-6 times a day. “Nano has no linguistic barriers as there is no dialogue, finished Yogi. It must be mentioned here that Yogi came second in the Super Pitch.
