>> Kutte mein tera…?
I have been trying to sell my animated feature film concept for last 6-8 months now. Pitching ideas to prospective co-producers/ companies/ studios is quite an exciting process. It’s interesting to know how many animated movies were announced in last 12 months. Surprisingly the really good studios like Paprikas, Crest, Prana are keeping themselves away from all the hype thats surrounding this industry.
Everyone is looking forward to “Roadside Romeo” (RR). This movie is seriously going to define and set a standard for all the future movies that are made in the Indian Entertainment industry. Everyone who was taking the audience for a ride or for granted will have to tighten their act and start making quality stuff.
(btw if you havent seen the promo> have a look)
I always wanted to work on a dog story and had even written a short story titled “dhobhi ka kutta” .
one-liner> What happens when a trusted, protected and pampered loyal dog is left alone to fend for himself in this mean city of Mumbai!
We all should know that dogs also have territorial pangas and thats why we sometimes find group of dogs fighting. Bingo! are we now hinting at an innocent dhobhi ka kutta caught up in underworld wars! Ok i have now given you the idea, think of it and get back to me. Sure Roadside Romeo has a similar concept with more masala, saif and rani all mixed together.
