Web Animation Studio has won the award for the Best edutainment content at the Golden Cursor Awards organised by TV18 and Arena Multimedia. The DVD titled ‘Rhymetime in Toyland’ created for Sheamroo Entertainment is targeted at children between 3-6.

Winning the Golden Cursor Award is a great feeling, I am glad the jury recognized our effort in creating a genuine edutainment product for kids. Also I am thankful to Shemaroo for giving us the complete creative freedom without which we wouldn‘t ever be able to create such a product.

I am really happy and excited about winning the award. It was my maiden film and concept that I came up with and to have got this award gives a lot of encouragement. There hasn’t been any film of this sort for the children that educates them and at the same time entertains them. The director Yogi Chopra had done a great job and added life to the story. We had taken a bold attempt to combine animation and live action together and it has really come out well with good quality.
